We provide opportunities for worship, Bible study, fellowship and outreach.
We have a vertical and horizontal thrust — upward to God and outward to humanity.

Greeters Ministry

Everyone is welcome here. We do not attempt to judge anyone based on who you are, where you’ve been or what you’ve done. We have a “come as you are“ attitude at Southern Mission. We do not have a defined dress code. You Are Welcome!!! Welcome others as they enter to worship.

Enrichment (Bible Study)

Sunday and mid-week Bible studies are provided so members and non-members can grow and mature in the Word of God. Enrichment Hour (Sunday Bible Study) is held each week at 9:00a.m. Wednesday Evening Discipleship Training is held each week at 6:00p.m. Classes are available for all ages.

Women’s Ministry

As women grow spiritually and build relationships with each other they are able to minister to their families, church and community. Along with bible study, worship and fellowship — the annual women’s day worship and women’s conference help to fulfill this purpose.

Men’s Ministry

The purpose of the Men’s Ministry is to help men develop a heart for God by teaching, encouraging and challenging each other to be Christ-like servants to their families, in their churches and in their communities through annual men’s day worship, men’s conference and seminars.

Youth Ministry

We strive to provide a safe and loving environment, which honors God and encourages a proper respect toward Him. Special programs are planned throughout the year to help train our children in the way that they should go.

Usher Unit Ministry

An important part of the worship experience occurs as you enter the sanctuary. The members of our Adult Ushers and Youth Ushers provide the vital direction and service throughout the worship experience.

Couple’s Ministry

Our couple’s ministry serves to help us as we work to know God, to know ourselves and to know one another.

Health Unit Ministry

The members of the Health Unit are available to provide the necessary assistance and support for members and visitors throughout the worship service.

Music Ministry

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord! Choirs are available for all ages to serve and sing His praises — Sunbeams (Children’s Choir), Youth of Promise (Youth Choir), Voices of Deliverance (Young Adults), Grace Ensemble, Redeemed Choir, Soul Summoners (Male Chorus), Psalms 100 (Contemporary Male Chorus).

Visitation/Outreach Ministry

Visiting those who are not able to physically join us in service is part of our outreach at Southern Mission. An audio and videotape ministry has also been instituted as part of our outreach ministry.
